Ganawenindadaa, meaning “We take care of each other,” is a growing organization dedicated to fostering Anishinaabe cultural health and wealth on Northern Minnesota Ojibwe reservations and ceded lands. Guided by an advisory board of Red Lake and White Earth citizens, we work to uplift our communities through values rooted in tradition and care

Our Mission

THE MISSION OF GANAWENINDADAA IS TO CREATE ANISHINAABE CULTURAL HEALTH AND WEALTH ON NORTHERN MINNESOTA OJIBWE RESERVATIONS AND CEDED LANDS IN A MANNER CONSISTANT WITH THE VALUES OF OUR COMMUNITIES.

Ganawenindadaa (We take care of each other) is a developing organization based in the northwest region of Minnesota. Its scope of operations includes Red Lake and other Tribal Nations, ceded lands and communities in the region. The current advisory board consists of enrolled citizens of the Red Lake (4) and White Earth (1) Nations.
