Mission

The mission of Ganawenindidaa is to create Anishinaabe cultural health and wealth on Northern Minnesota Ojibwe reservations and ceded lands in a manner consistent with the values of our communities.

Ganawenindidaa is a developing organization based in the northwest region of Minnesota. Its scope of operations includes Red Lake and other Tribal Nations, ceded lands and communities in the region.

The current advisory board consists of enrolled citizens of the Red Lake and White Earth Nations, working together to uphold our responsibilities to the land, water, and people.

Guided by an advisory board of Red Lake and White Earth citizens, we work to uplift our communities through values rooted in tradition and care.
